To get around you'll need a car for there is no public transportation. You can relay on uber or lift. And you will need to pull out from the no-wake zone (about 2mins) in order to ski, tube or wake board. While we supply a starter pack of things like, toilet paper, paper towels, and dish soap you will want to come prepared with more for an extended stay, or be prepared to make the drive to the store. Due to the fact that we are a water front property, and in the “wilderness”, you will come in contact with bugs. We suggest you bring bug spray, and keep all doors and windows closed, especially at night. This is a split level property and has 2 half staircases inside. You will also have to walk down to the water, there is a rock staircase, however we are not handicapped/wheel chair accessible. If you are picky about that sort of thing, this might not be the house for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a sparkling clean vacation rental on the lake with GORGEOUS views and plenty of room to roam, we'd love to have you as our guest! You will have private access to the entire home. Our home has an open living area with a stone fireplace and comfortable seating for your group to gather. The dining room will seat 8 people, with additional seating for 3 at the bar. Or, take your meal outside to one of two patios, both hosting fabulous views of Lake Bridgeport. We also have a open kitchen with quartz countertops, all new appliances and everything you need to fix and serve meals for your group. The house also boasts a fabulous entertainment room with pool table and other gaming, as well as entertainment center with 75" TV and surround sound system. The home sleeps a total of 16 people. Downstairs, one bedroom hosts a full bed, another bedroom has a Twin over King bunkbed as well as a second twin trundle bed and an en suite half bath. These two bedrooms share a hall bathroom with a stand up shower. The third bedroom downstairs is a bunkroom located at the back of the gameroom with 2 sets of twin bunkbeds. On the mezzanine, is a Queen guest room with an en suite bathroom. This bathroom has a shower/ tub combination. Additionally, there is a sleeper sofa in the gameroom. The master suite upstairs has a King size bed, flat screen TV, and a large en suite bathroom with shower and a Jacuzzi tub. Master suite guests will also enjoy their own private sun room/ coffee station leading out onto a deck with fabulous sunset and lake views. On the exterior, we have a fire pit and a large charcoal grill. Lake access is available via stone steps down the hill to our private dock. Our dock is a 12x16 swim platform with mooring hooks for tying up your boat. There is also a public boat launch one mile from the house. Our home is stocked with everything you will need. We have linens, cooking utensils, pots, pans, and basic spices. We also have 2 Keurig machines, one being a Keurig duo so you can fix a pot of coffee. You just bring the food, charcoal, drinks and enjoy.

ARRIVAL When you arrive at the entrance of the ranch, you will find a large eight foot high steel gate with a sign: “Estancia de Lifto”. You enter the ranch using the temporary gate code we provide you in advance of your visit. Please enter and drive south into the ranch on our paved driveway three quarters of a mile south of the entrance to the cabin. You will likely pass several free roaming cattle, calves, and horses. The cabin is located a quarter of a mile south of the main home. The cabin is isolated out of sight from the ranch house and surrounded by trees and nature. You will be offer tours. The tour includes the history of the ranch, taking you over several trails, introduction to the horses and feeding them cubes, passing close to the cattle, introduction to the solar production, wild hog operation, and more. MODERN TWO BEDROOM CABIN Our cedar two bedroom, two bath modern secluded cabin with central air, central heat, and all of the needed modern conveniences will be waiting for you with a highly rated bottle of red wine. There are two bedrooms, each with a queen sized beds. In the living room is a pull out coach that can sleep two. On the large front screened in porch, is a fold out bed that can sleep one person. The front porch overlooks trees, the fire pit, and includes rockers, cushioned chairs and games. Located in the living room is an electric fire place often used by guests in the winter months. Included in the cabin is a washer, drier—with Tide pods included, dishwasher, shower, two person hot tub, pots, pans, glasses, silverware, towels, cleaning soaps, hair drier, couch, dinner table with chairs, linens, spices, and two means for brewing coffee. Either use our Kuerig coffee machine with pods included, or use the coffee beans waiting for your in a sealed contained then grind in the electric coffee grinder included, and brew fresh brewed coffee in the morning. Coffee creamer and sweeteners included. We charge an additional cleaning fee as do most rental properties. We wash all of the towels, sheets, blankets, pillow cases, etc. Because we are in the country, we ask you to keep the doors to the cabin closed so outside insects, animals, etc. cannot enter. We have a local raccoon named Mapache who occasionally visits the cabin. The cabin is sprayed on a regular basis for insects. The cabin has two flat screen televisions and DVD player with over 50 DVD’s provided. We use Dish network in the cabin. One TV is located in the master bedroom, and the other in the main room. The DVD player is built into the TV in the living room. A first aide kit is located in cabin master bathroom for minor injuries. It also has a listing of emergency telephone numbers should you need professional care. FREE INTERNET INCLUDED BEFORE or AFTER RESERVING OUR CABIN: If you are sick with COVID-19 or suspect you are infected with the virus that causes COVID-19, you should take steps to help prevent the disease from spreading to people in your home, and community. If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and symptoms, such as cough or difficulty breathing, call your healthcare provider for medical advice. If you are sick or a carrier after your reserve, let us know so we can move your reservation to a later date until you know you have fully recovered and are not a carrier BRING YOUR DOG There is a large fenced back yard attached to the cabin. Additionally, if your dog is house trained, you can keep them inside. We only ask that you do not allow the dogs (or cat) on the furniture, beds, nor use the blankets and towels on your pet. Please pick up after your dog. We have a policy to discard any blankets or towels used on pets rather than trying to clean them. A $19 fee is charged for dogs or cats account the cost to us for additional cleaning. OUTDOORS Outside of the cabin is a large fire pit with free firewood, tree swing, horse shoe pits and horse shoes, a picnic table located on a cement slab with a gas propane grill and charcoal grill for your use. There are chairs around the fire pit and a two person swing made by local trees. We provide four long metal sticks with wooden handles to use for marshmallows or hot dogs. Two bikes are provided and kept in front of the cabin. We ask you use them on the paved road or solid trails to protect the tires. Please do not ride them off road—especially over cactus. Enjoy 124 acres of nature, ranch life, cows, deer, plant life, fruit trees, flowers, deer, rabbits and other wild life. Stroll and pick wild tuna from the prickly pear which can be prepared into a large variety of foods and drinks. The ranch is about 4 miles from beautiful Lake Bridgeport, with close landings, beach and fishing. The ranch has about three + miles of trails, grazing cattle and horses, wild animals including deer, wild hogs, turkey, coyotes, raccoons, fox, rabbits, armadilos, possems, and more. We have counted over 80 species of birds, including beautiful colored buntings that migrate from Mexico. Come meet our horses: Campion, Ferrari, Beauty, Desire and Valentina. About 20 new baby cattle born in 2019. ATV’S and RTV's for OFF Road ATV's and RTV's are available for rent. We have one RTV that seats four people, another seats two people, and the ATV’s are four wheeled vehicles all automatic. Please check for updated prices. Current ATV price per day is $95 plus $8 for gas. The 7 seater is $165 plus $12 gas, and the two person side by side is $115 plus the cost of gas. There are a dozen fruit trees planted behind the cabin along with dozens of blackberry bushes. Over 50 pecan trees are on the ranch. Most of the nuts are left for wild life to keep the wild life population healthy and thriving. You can bring your own ATV for use on the ranch, or to take to the off road park located two miles from the ranch and run by the City of Bridgeport. Use of your own ATV or ours is at your own risk and we assume no liability for personal injury. POND RESTOCK DECEMBER 27TH WITH LARGE MOUTH BASS AND MORE in Bring your fishing poles. We recommend live worms, chicken livers, grass hopers and/or a trebble hooks with chilled hot dogs for catfish. Close to the cabin on the ranch is a well stocked fishing pond. We restock the pond twice a year with bass, blue gill, perch, sunfish and catfish. The large fishing pond that includes a large fountain for aeration. There is a dock where you can launch our canoe included for your use. Along the pond is a gazebo with electricity, lights, picnic table and rocking chairs. Limit fish to keep 2 at 2 lbs or greater. If you stay more than 3 days, you can keep 4. SHOOTING RANGE FOR GUNS AND BOW & ARROWS It is a unique feature built into a depression for safety and multiple barriers to protect from stray bullets. The range includes a sighting table with a container beneath used for spent cartridges. We include two bow and arrow square bale targets, metal ping targets, a back board to staple targets for guns, and you can use shot guns while on the range. We no longer provide a skeet thrower account it repeated broke or was damaged. The range time is limited when open for the protection of ranch workers, and anyone who might be in the area where shooting might occur. If you wish to use the range, you will be asked to have each person using the range to sign the attached safety and indemnification/liability agreement. You are welcome to use the range between 10 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. If you wish to use the range after or before hours, please discuss with the owner so that we can protect anyone who might be in the area. If you use the gun range, please pick up your spent rounds and put them in the plastic container under the table. RESTUARANTS Bridgeport has over 20 restaurants, a large recreational lake and multiple other attractions for people who visit. If you enjoy Italian food, we especially recommend Pronto's, located off of 380 or 3.5 miles east of the ranch just as you are departing the west end of Bridgeport. They do not serve alcohol, but you can take your own bottle of wine and they do not charge a corkage fee. Also, they provide glasses and a wine bottle opener. If you bring your own boat, you can drive across the main body, plus miles of inlets with swimming areas and great fishing. There is a store and boat gas station located on the northwest side of the lake. We have some great shops and restaurants on the square and throughout town. There is ample parking inside the gate and on the street. The pool is not heated, but depending on the temperature anyone can take a dip! Our master bedroom retreat has an adjustable king size bed, en suite master bath with walk in over-sized shower. The 2nd bedroom has a full and queen size bed, the 3rd bedroom has a full bed and the study/4th bedroom has a queen size air mattress and twin chaise lounge in it. We also have 3 large reclining sofas that are very comfortable. We do have a RV with full hook-ups in a covered barn that can be made available if you inquire about it first. It can sleep up to 4 or more. This is our main home that we open up to visitors. There is no smoking allowed except outside and please pick up afterwards.

Fishing opportunities abound from the pier, shoreline, and anywhere you float your boat. At the end of the day, tie off your boat on the private pier. Seeking restful peace and tranquility? Start your day eating breakfast and drinking coffee on the huge covered patio that overlooks the lake, sit in the abundance of shade offered by almost 90 mature oak trees, sit in a hammock and listen to the waves lap the shoreline, or lounge on the deck of the pier and boathouse. With easy entry to the main floor of the house you will be welcomed by a tall entry foyer that takes you into the main living area with plenty of formal seating for your family at the large hand made dining table built with room for ten, a den complete with sofas and a large screen TV with blu-ray player, and a wall of windows that look out onto the huge patio that overlooks the lake. Preparing your favorite meal is a treat in the adjacent kitchen with new cabinets and granite countertops and a large work island. With two ovens, a 5 burner induction cooktop, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer, and plenty of kitchen appliances you will find everything you need at your fingertips. Dine informally at the counter of the island or at the pub height table in the nook which also has windows that overlook the large patio and the lake. Did someone say barbecue? A huge gas fired BBQ awaits the grilling enthusiast whether grilling the perfect cut of meat or your favorite vegetables. Want to enjoy all of your meals outside, by all means please do so. When the breeze isn't blowing, the 3 ceiling fans help to keep the air moving over the two tables on the covered patio. End your day in the peaceful surroundings on the quiet part of the lake before retiring to one of the three bedrooms: two on the main floor and one upstairs. The extra large master suite on the main floor overlooks the lake and offers plenty of space, a king-sized bed with brand new medium-firm mattress, and a large bathroom with large walk in shower with dual shower heads, a jetted jacuzzi tub, and a double sink vanity. The second bedroom on the main floor offers a queen sized bed also with a brand new medium-firm mattress and a full bathroom with shower just across the hall. Upstairs you will find the third bedroom with four twin-beds, and an air hockey table. There is plenty of room to play for your kids and guests. You will also find a complete bathroom with walk-in shower. In total you will find beds to sleep 8. We have wi-fi and TV service available.

We call the cabin site "Inspiration" named for the awesome view of the valley below and the morning sunrise is always special from the covered porch with built-in BBQ, smoker and bluetooth sound system. Inside there is a king size bed and two lofts with three twin beds. The small kitchen is fully equipped and there is a small table with four chairs. Outside there is a fire pit and 10 miles of hike and bike trails around the forest of the lake and the wooded meadows above.

We call this campsite “Serenity”. It houses a very modern 16 foot travel trailer installed permanently and it is connected to water, sewer and power. It has a full size bed and a small couch and has a kitchen, cookware and restroom with shower and an awning. Bluetooth sound system is included as is firewood for the large fire pit. Outside there is a tent pad and picnic table and a 12' x 12' open shelter with a charcoal grill all surrounded by woods with a bubbling brook running through it. The dock on the lake is just a short walk away to great fishing and water sports.

The Top-of-the-Dam” campground is a Group Campground for use by families and friends or camping groups and can fit up to 10 tents/small RV’s. There are two utility stations each with power and water, a 12' x 12' open shelter, two fire pits, two picnic tables, and a porta-potty. There is an area comfort station with toilets/showers within walking distance. The sunrise and sunset views at the Top of the Dam campground are spectacular. Fishing is great. Price is $80.00 for the first Tent or RV and $10.00 per night for each additional guest in other RV's/Tents.

When you step onto the property, you will have a sense of relaxation with the view of Eagle Mountain Lake. Besides the lake there are many amenities that you would love: spacious kitchen and living room, flat screen smart TV, indoor fireplace, spacious covered patio with BBQ grill readily available, and of course an amazing fire pit! Every morning you will witness an amazing sunrise from the dock. My favorite thing to do is to have a cup of coffee while watching it on the dock. Trust me it is something to witness!

Located on the wooded upper trail of the 188 acre ranch property and above the lake and crappie pond, these five (5) large drive-through secluded RV/Tent sites are identically equipped tent-sites (11, 12, 14, 15 and 16) and have 20/30 amp power, water, fire pit, charcoal grill and picnic table. You can choose to park on your private gravel driveway or in the grassy level field under the oak trees.The comfort station with two showers and two toilets is a short walk away down the trial and with ten miles of hiking and biking trails and five wildlife feeder/viewing stations there is lots to do beside fishing in the lake which is excellent. Bring your own small watercraft and enjoy water sports or visit the sports complex and enjoy sand volley ball, basketball, soccer or baseball.
